Wigmore's Convenience Store
Wigmore Superstore offers the best selection of ice creams, locally grown products and dry goods on the island of Rarotonga in the Cook Islands.
For all your shopping needs, visit us at Wigmores.
Waterfall
Wigmore’s Waterfall (also known as Papua in the Cook Island’s Maori tongue [or Papua Waterfall]) is the lone waterfall attraction that we’re aware of throughout the Cook Islands.
Lagoon
Our side of the Island has some of the nicest lagoon areas for snorkelling. With the reef at your doorstep its a great to be able to walk down and jump in the water. Our area is rich with marine life so you can expect to see lots of fish and even turtles.
Cross Island Walk
Theo if you are looking for something really interesting and authentic, you can take a guided 3 to 4-hour hike through amazing nature from the north to south coasts of Rarotonga. Most of the trails are well maintained, but there are some really challenging steep sections—extremely dangerous in wet weather. Thus, the dry and cool period is the best time for this adventure.
On your way, you’ll have to cross several streams and the most exciting—the 413m Te Rua Manga (Needle). Check out the incredible scenery that opens from the top of this mountain. The trail ends near the gorgeous Wigmore’s Waterfall, where you can cool off after your trip
